AIMS Power Portable Generators – 800 & 3200 Watt

Power Anywhere with AIMS Power Portable Inverter Generators

We’ve all been in situations where we need power off the grid, whether we’re tailgating, camping or are simply too far away from the garage to power the Shop-Vac. In these situations, we rely on portable power, typically in the form of generators, for a big-time boost. You probably already know that inverter generators are superior to conventional generators in almost every way – they’re lighter, quieter and more efficient. With all of this in mind, we’re thrilled to announce the debut of two new portable inverters from AIMS Power, available in 3,200-watt and 800-watt options.

Why would you need a portable generator, you ask? Of course, the main reason why many users turn to portable solutions is so they can bring power with them on the go in environments where electricity may be scarce or inconvenient. Ideal for storing in your truck, RV or camper, these go-anywhere generators use an inverter to convert DC power to AC power literally anywhere. Other people prefer portable and lightweight generators on hand for backup power should there be an issue with the public utility or an off-grid system.

All About AIMS Portable Generators

The new AIMS portable inverter generators are uniquely designed to provide you with ultra-quiet operation with some of the very best features, including:

  • Lightweight, Portable Design – Both sizes of portable generators by AIMS are made for easy transport. The 3,200-watt model (73 pounds) comes with built-in wheels with a brake system so you can roll it wherever it needs to go. The smaller 800-watt model weighs just 25 pounds and doesn’t have wheels but does feature an easy-carry handle.
  • Long Powering Life – Even though they are lightweight, these generators don’t skimp on power or performance. The 3,200 offers a five-hour runtime and the 800 runs for six hours, both at a 50 percent load. They’re both equipped with a four-stroke OHV engine.
  • Eco-Friendly and Compliant – Both of these models are compliant to the California Air Resources Board (CARB), which means that they help maintain healthy air quality and comply with standards to prevent toxic air contaminants. It also means you can use them just about anywhere.
  • Quiet Operation – One of the biggest issues with generators is that they tend to be noisy. AIMS has engineered these to be some of the quietest portable inverter generators on the market, both running at between 56 and 58 decibels, depending on the location.

Which One Should I Choose?

The most important thing to know when selecting any inverter generator is how to calculate the power you need. We always recommend adding up the running and starting watts of all devices you need to power and then size the generator using the starting watts. Besides wattage, you should consider portability, weight and runtime when comparing these two generators.
